Last week I got the chance to visit my hometown: Houston, Texas. While I was there, I got to host a pop up shop (my first!), a lettering workshop, catch up with friends, shop in the big city, and drive to Waco to see Magnolia Market.
In January, while my parents were out of the country, Houston experienced one of the coldest weeks in their history. Temps dropped well below freezing and the old pipes in my parents’ home couldn’t take it. The ceiling in one room collapsed and they had to redo the whole thing. Just before they were able to put the furniture back in the den, we brought in two long tables and set it up for a workshop for 14! It was awesome to see the space transform. I LOVE teaching at people’s homes. It’s just so cozy. I can’t wait to do it again.
So… enjoy a few photos from a week in Texas!
